He active as an assistant professor at a major US university in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. He has published several papers concerning exercise interventions for those with chronic diseases. He teaches courses in Nutrition and Physical Fitness, Exercise Testing and Prescription, Skeletal Muscle Physiology, and is preparing to offer a course focused on exercise interventions for those with chronic disease.
