This highly-qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in internal medicine and nearly 15 years of experience with nursing home care. She received her BS in biology from Xavier University of New Orleans before earning her MD from the University of Maryland and completing her internal medicine residency at Temple University. This expert is board-certified in internal medicine and certified in medical direction by the American Medical Directors Association. She is active in her field as a member of the American Medical Directors Association and the American College of Physicians. Upon finishing her residency program, she was a physician and partner with Benner, Mulshine, and Seay for 9 years. She then transitioned to working in nursing home care, serving as a physician and medical director for numerous nursing and rehabilitation centers, including Brightview Assisted Living in Catonsville, FutureCare Pineview, and Frederick Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. For her work, she was awarded the Medical Director of the Year award by the Maryland Medical Directors Association. Currently, this expert serves as the medical director for a home healthcare service and multiple nursing & rehabilitation centers in Maryland.

A former Fellow of the College of American Pathologists, he is currently an Associate Editor for the Atlas of Pathology - Non-Tumor Diagnostic Surgical Pathology, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of both Modern Pathology and Fetal and Pediatric Pathology.
