After receiving his PhD, he earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The expert completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Saint Louis Children's Hospital in association with the Washington University School of Medicine, and he went on to complete several prestigious fellowships. These fellowships focused in Spinal Surgery, Neuroscience/Neurosurgery, Biomedical Engineering, and Neurobiology. He is also active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including the Joint Spine Section, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the North American Spine Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition, he has published over 40 journal articles, been invited to present at numerous conferences regarding Neurosurgery and holds 3 patents. The expert currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery at a medical school in Missouri.
